BART BRENTJENS
Bart Brentjens has already 30 years experience in the sport of mountainbike. Top level athlete from 1992 till 2008, participating in 4 Olympic Games.
World's 1st Olympic Champion Mountainbike in history and Bronze Medal in Athens 2004.
Founder of his own Team in 2009, UCI Elite Team since 2013.
Co-Commentator for RedBullTV since 2012.
Warner Bros Discovery co-commentator in ‘23 & ’24.
Bart Brentjens Challenge Race/mass event since 2005.
NTFU cycling sport ambassador. Watersley Sports & Talentpark ambassador & Track builder, a wide network in the bicycle industry.

BART BRENTJENS MTB RACING TEAM

After Bart's 4th Olympic Games in 2008 and 17 years of professional mountainbike racing, it was time for a new step in his career. He founded his own MTB Team by the end of 2008.
Bart "I always wanted to start my own
Team, it is an extension of my own sportive career. I want to share my knowledge to young ambitious athletes with Olympic ambition."
The sportive goal of the Team was to have 2 talented riders at the start of the 2012
Olympic Games, called Mission part 1.
Bart succeeded with Annie Last (GBR) 8th
place and Marek Konwa (POL) 16th place.
After Mission part 1 followed next missions, all 4 year cycles working up to the next Olympic Games. The Team had riders at all Olympic Games from 2012 to 202(0)1.
At the Olympic Games in Paris2024, the
team had 4 riders at the start.
Our new mission and goal is to win an
Olympic Medal at the Olympic Games in
Los Angeles 2028.

BART BRENTJENS MTB RACING TEAM
During the last 16 years the Team has reached many great
successes. Several medals at the World Championships in the
U23 and Elite categories and even twice a World Champion in
the 4X category with Anneke Beerten.
European titles in the U23 and Elite category and many
National Champions titles.
In 2017 Yana Belomoina won the UCI Worldcup XCO Women
Elite overall 2017
and the Team ended that year as best Team of the World !
And Bart keeps on riding as well like in the Cape Epic
in the Grand Masters category.
At the Olympic Games in Paris2024, 4 riders from the team
have participated.
