Ultrasonic technology is used in apparel manufacturing industry as advanced process of joining synthetic materials by using ultrasonic waves (frequencies) to generate heat within the fibers which cause the polymers to fuse. Seams without stitching line can reduce friction and withstand stretching for enhanced skin-friendly  comfort. The material that be used in ultrasonic seam is only fabric itself, so this method can also significantly reduce the overall weight of the garment.
